Emerging role of bone morphogenetic proteins in angiogenesis



T​​his review published in the journal Cytokine and Growth Factor Reviews focuses on the emerging role played by Bone Morphogenetic Proteins (BMPs) in angiogenesis. BMPs are dimeric proteins of the family of TGFß that were originally purified on the basis of their osteogenic and chondrogenic activity.​
